Project Description
A short documentary film by Tushar Madhav. An Indian painter and a Japanese curator encounter each other during their migrations between the forest and the city. Trapped in crossing, while the painter slips into depression and takes the path of suicide, the curator pursues his life away from modern civilization inside a forest. A tale of outcasts of contemporary society, Detour portrays two unusual artists and their isolation in the modern world, reflecting upon our time by re-examining the modernization that occurred at the turn of the 21st century.
